What we do?
Connect Music set its foot into the drum circle space in December 2015. In a span of these years, we have completed more than 500+ events at various corporate and social gatherings and drummed for a crowd of more than 50,000 gradually becoming one of India’s best team building Drum Circle. We at Connect Music are deeply inclined to our passion and driven towards our goal. Our main motto is to create awareness about 'Music Therapy' and bring about a change in society through music.
Hitch Yourself With Connect Drum Circle
There are many organizations working towards empowerment of the under-privileged. However, the use of music is a concept which is rarely tapped and is the most powerful one indeed. Connect Music began its musical journey by conducting its first event for an NGO on 22nd December, 2015.
Connect Music has successfully established a name for drumming among the hearing impaired. Facing one of our greatest challenges, we decided to conduct a special Drum Circle to provide musical therapy to the under-privileged hearing impaired kids. We designed a special instrument for them which we call “A Vibration Box”. This instrument had inbuilt speakers, that sent out vibrations which could be felt by these kids.
This technique helped them learn the beats and rhythm played on the Djembe (A West African Instrument) to a great extent. With all the meticulous planning and synchronized execution, the event was a great success. Through this experience, we concluded that being hearing impaired is not a reason for one to stop enjoying.
Our Team
Arvin David, Founder, Corporate Trainer & Facilitator
Connect Music is the brainchild of Mr Arvin David. Having an avid love for music, he has drummed and connected with people from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. A corporate trainer and an exceptional facilitator of Connect Music Drum Circle, he has facilitated over 600+ drum circles since 2015 drumming with various corporate organizations diversifying in various lines of work. Having facilitated drums circles for some of India’s most renowned corporate organizations, Arvin possesses the knack for understanding the client's requirements in alignment with the objective at hand. The passion and love for music is what led Arvin to kickstart Connect Drum Circle. Being a Banker by profession, Arvin also is a singer and owns a Youtube music channel named "Arvin Ginu Studios". With exceptional multitasking abilities, he simultaneously manages and facilitates the various projects associated with Connect Drum Circle.
Joseph Edward, Co-Founder & Director
Meet Joseph Edward, our Co-Founder and the ultimate marketing maestro! With over 11 years of experience in Marketing Management and an IIM Calcutta Alumni, Joseph brings a level of expertise and professionalism to our team that is truly unmatched. As the mastermind behind our marketing and sales operations, Joseph seamlessly handles every task with ease and finesse. His attention to detail and dedication to achieving the best results are simply outstanding, and his ability to motivate his team is truly inspiring. But Joseph's talents don't end there! He's also an incredibly talented musician, having started playing the keyboard at the age of 10. His enthusiasm for life and music is simply infectious, and his passion for exploring new places and finding music in everything is truly inspiring.
Jithesh Menon, Management, Planning & Execution
A Social Media Marketeer by profession in the field of media management, Jithesh Krishna Menon handles the Management and Execution work in Connect Drum Circle. Having a proficient knowledge of marketing, execution and brilliant management skills, Jithesh oversees the inventory management and event set-up arrangement besides executing the social media marketing plan and promotions for the events. Being inclined to music, Jithesh always wanted to be a part of a music band which engages people and finds a special connection with Connect Drum Circle.
Joe, Musician & Drum Circle Facilitator
Let us introduce you to Joe, a key member of Connect Drum Circle and a true music aficionado! He was an integral part of Arvin's vision of spreading joy and a unique musical experience, and has been with us from the very beginning. Joe's journey with Connect Drum Circle began as a performer, showcasing his expertise as a rhythm guitarist and percussionist. He spent 8 years entertaining audiences and spreading the joy of music through his performances. But that was just the beginning of his journey with us. With a vision to spread the power of drum circles across India and around the world, Joe stepped up to take on a new role within our team. He now plays an instrumental part in our mission to bring the joy of drumming to the masses.
Sidesh Nadar, Photographer, Videographer & Editor
Meet Sidesh, the man behind capturing all the unforgettable memories of Connect Drum Circle's journey throughout the years. Starting as a photographer, Sidesh has been with us for a long time, growing and evolving within our team. Sidesh's passion for drum circles was also growing, and he began to explore this new interest with us. Today, Sidesh is not just a talented photographer and videographer, but also a skilled Drum Circle Facilitator. It's been an incredible journey for him, and he feels blessed to have been a part of Connect Drum Circle's growth and success through his trusty 50 mm lens.
Vinoth Ravikumar, Business Head - South India
Meet Vinoth, the human embodiment of a shot of espresso! With a boundless energy that would put the Energizer Bunny to shame, Vinoth is the go-to guy for any project that needs a burst of enthusiasm and motivation. As our Regional Head of South India, Vinoth brings a level of professionalism to his role that is truly inspiring. He's responsible for overseeing all of our drum circle events in the region, and he takes that responsibility very seriously. His attention to detail and dedication to excellence are second to none, and he always goes above and beyond to ensure that every event is a smashing success.
